Grad Night

Class of 2021, Celebrate!

  • June 5, 2021 (Saturday)

  • Alameda County Fairgrounds, Pleasanton

  • 7:00 pm-10:30 pm

  • For Cal High Class of 2021 Seniors

A safe and sober celebration with food, music, games, photo ops, entertainment and more.

  1. Outdoor event, must wear a mask, social distancing required, and participants will have table seating to eat, watch entertainment, and compete in games against other table teams.
    1. Students will be able to request reserved seating with their friends (tables with max of 6) or just come to the Grad Night and choose their own seat.
    2. Students will have a chance to get up for the drawings, picture ops, and food.
    3. Rules may loosen or tighten depending upon the COVID restrictions at the time of the event.
  2. Tickets go on sale March 20 online at Future Fund Store   
    1. Price starts at $110 until April 18 [Newly extended time] and increases over time
    2. Tickets must be purchased in advance. 
    3. Tickets will NOT be sold at the gate.

Grad night Planning

Parents of any age Cal High student is welcome and encouraged to join us in planning Grad Night 2021!  We need your help to make this event a success.

Meetings: 

  • Every other Wednesday, 7:00 pm

  2. GRADUATION CEREMONY:  Organized by SRVUSD and Cal High

Graduation Ceremony Planning:  Plans are being made for some type of graduation ceremony..  If allowed it will most likely be scheduled over a few days/times and families will be able to choose the date/time that works best for them.  It will be recorded for those who cannot attend.  More info to come.
    2. Cap and gowns
      1. Pick up your cap/gown by visiting the attendance office M-F 7:30 am-4:00 pm.
      2. DEADLINE late orders:  MUST BE RECEIVED BY MARCH 31:

  3. SENIOR LAWN SIGNS:  Organized by Cal High PTSA 
    1. Free lawn sign for every Cal High Senior delivered on April 17 or picked up with dates/times TBD.  
    2. Must sign up your senior by March 16  by clicking on Lawn Signs
    3. Volunteer to help deliver signs by clicking on Lawn Sign Volunteers by April 10.  Delivery target date is April 17.
  4. ADOPT-A-SENIOR:  Organized by Cal High PTSA Committee
    1. Activities will begin after spring break. Sign up by April 1
    2. Sign up your senior to be “adopted” by a Cal High parent/guardian.  Your senior will receive messages or treats 1-2 times a month April-June. 
      1. TWO WAYS TO SIGN UP YOUR SENIOR:
        1. Join through the Adopt a California High School Senior 2021 Facebook Group                                OR
        2. Sign up your senior by filling out the senior adoptee form
    3. Sign up as a parent/guardian to adopt a Cal High senior.  1-2 times a month drop off treats or messages to support/celebrate the senior student.

    1. Volunteers create a poster from pictures you submit of your senior.
    2. The Memory Poster committee will provide instructions soon in the Bear Facts newsletter and on the website:  www.classof2021.com
    3. Posters might be hung at a senior activity and can be picked up afterwards.
  7. GRIZ21Y GRUB:  Organized by Cal High PTSA Committee
    1. Discounts and freebies offered by local businesses to celebrate our seniors.  
    2. Look for information to come in the Bear Facts Newsletter and on the www.calhigh2021.com website.
  8. BACCALAUREATE:  Organized by Cal High parents and students
    1. A non-denominational service celebration of dedication to education and wisdom.
