Events for UC Admitted Students

Admitted students will have a range of options to engage with campuses this spring. Campuses are planning multiple virtual events beginning late March and continuing throughout April. Events may include (but are not limited to) presentations on financial aid and scholarships, choosing a major, student organizations, support resources, and housing. The date ranges are provided below along with the link for more information on the events.

UC Berkeley: April 3, Cal Week: April 24-30

UC Davis: March 30 – April 3

UC Irvine: March 26 – April 17

UCLA: April 5 –16

UC Merced: March 9 – April 24

UC Riverside: April 5 – 7

UC San Diego: April 10, with other events continuing throughout April

UC Santa Barbara: March 22 – 25 and April 26 – 30

UC Santa Cruz: March 20 – April 10

Sony Music’s SMU Incoming Class

On April 10th, 2021 Sony Music U is launching SMU Incoming Class. This virtual event is meant to prepare high school seniors in their transition from high school to college. The event will include Topic Expert Guest Speakers, College Marketing representatives, and Sony Music Artist discussing all things that an incoming college student will experience. This event will also feature artist performances as well as prizes and giveaways.

 

SMU Incoming Class will be held on Saturday, April 10th from 10:50am – 6:00pm EST and is open to all high school seniors. Spots are limited. Register here!

Testing 101 Presentation with CollegeWise

Thursday, April 13th, 2021 @ 5:30 – 6:30PM

Standardized tests like the ACT and SAT have plagued students, families, and bank accounts for decades. Our presenters will provide their insight and experience in the world of standardized testing to cover the following topics: appropriate test times, the differences between the SAT & ACT, how colleges interpret your score and more! Register here.

Naviance: explore your college & career options using Naviance. 

Logging Into Naviance (All Students):

1. Go to SRVUSD Student Portal.

2. Log in using your SRVUSD username and password. If you have forgotten your password, click "reset password" in order to change it.

3. Click on the "Student Applications" tab in the grey bar located at the bottom right side of the screen. If the WebPass Missing screen pops up, click cancel.

4. Click on the Naviance tile and you will be taken to your personal Naviance homepage. 

5. You will be automatically logged into Naviance using the Clever software. 

Logging Into Naviance (All Parents):

1. Visit the Cal High Naviance Page.

2. Select Parent/Guardian. You can login here. If you do not already have a login, click, "I'm new and need to register." If you have forgotten your password, click "forgot password" to enter a new one.

3. If prompted, to locate Cal High as your school, enter 94583 as the zip code and "California High School."

4. Once logged in, you will be able to view your student's Naviance account.

Sophomores:

The PSAT is open to sophomores on April 20, 2021.

Juniors:

The SAT is open to juniors on April 27, 2021.
