Work Permits

The Work Permit process will take place remotely for the 2020-2021 school year. See below for details about obtaining a Work Permit in a remote environment.

How to obtain a Work Permit during the school year:

Step 1. Follow this link to fill out a Work Permit Request form. 

Step 2. Fill out your information, our school information, and obtain a signature from a parent/guardian.

Step 3. Take the Work Permit Request form to your workplace, and have your manager fill out the employer section of the form. Please ensure that this portion is signed and dated by them.

Step 4. Scan a copy of the completed Work Permit Request form, and email it to

Step 5. Allow 24 hours for the permit to process. Please note processing Work Permits may take longer over the weekend.

Step 6. After you receive your processed Work Permit, print, sign, date, and give a copy of the Permit to your employer. 

*please note, if work permits are requested after 3:00pm on Fridays, they may not be completed until the following school day. 


How to obtain a Work Permit during the summer:

Summer work permits will be processed by the district office beginning June 7, 2021.  You may submit your fully completed work permit worksheet by email to Helen Burrows at  Please note that the form must be completed by all parties, student, parent and employer in order to be processed.  If you are going to be employed by more than one business you will need a work permit for each employer.  The work permit turnaround time is 24 hours.  Due to the high volume of work permit request coming in at this time, the processing turnaround time may take up to 72 hours.
