Need Help With Schoology?

If you are experiencing problems with Schoology, we are so sorry. We have help for you! Schoology emails were sent on Monday and we know that there are some people who have still not received it. Rather than focus on what happened to those emails, we are going to focus on solutions!

We have created a slideshow with step-by-step instructions to walk you through what to do if you a) have not received an email from Schoology and b) received the email but are having difficulty.

We worked directly with SRVUSD parents who contacted us to tell us that they had not received the email to test these instructions and we are pleased to say that they received the unofficial Parental Seal of Approval.

If you go through the troubleshooting process and you are still having trouble, please call (925) 552-5071.*Note that this is the correct phone number and is different from the number that was sent in the email that went home.

Also, please note 2 important things:

  1. Once you log into Schoology, you may not be able to see your child’s information right away. In some cases, it is still being populated.

  2. If you have or have had a Schoology account associated with a school that is not part of the SRVUSD, your process to log in may be slightly different. Please see the Schoology help page for assistance.

Independent Study

The SRVUSD is pleased to be able to continue to offer a remote option for families who wish to switch from in-person to remote learning beginning today and through the remainder of the 2021-22 school year. As of today, August 11, 2021, anyone who wishes to request a transfer  from in-person to remote learning will be given the option of participating in an Independent Study Program through Venture School using an online learning platform like Edgenuity.

Recent California legislation requires us to provide a virtual option, but due to staffing issues and other circumstances that we could not have predicted, the Virtual Academy Program is full and is unable to accommodate any additional students. The Independent Study model is going to be offered as an alternative.

If you want to request a transfer, please contact Enrollment Coordinator Sandy Cattarusa

New Information for TK-12 Schools about Vaccinations

As you may know, today the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) issued a new public health order requiring workers and on-site volunteers in TK-12 public and private schools to verify vaccination status and if not fully vaccinated to undergo at least weekly COVID-19 testing  to verify vaccination status or to submit to regular COVID testing (at least once a week). The order is part of the state’s efforts to protect Californians from the Delta variant of COVID-19.

The new policy for all school staff and all volunteers will take effect August 12, 2021, and schools must be in full compliance by October 15, 2021. As with all state and county public health mandates, the SRVUSD will fully comply with this health order and put the appropriate processes in place as soon as possible.

When all details regarding implementation are clear to us, we will share this information with you.

We also want to thank everyone for doing such a great job masking up for the beginning of the school year. Masking on our campuses is going well. Students are doing great! We are so proud of them!

If you have questions about masking, please contact your school site directly.
