Class of 2018 Graduation Information

Friday, June 1, 2018

6:00pm Ernie Berger Stadium 

 Please note the following information: 

  • Ernie Berger Stadium gates will open at 4:30 p.m. We will utilize two entrances: The main gate located on the south side of the stadium, and the pool gate located on the west side of the stadium.
  • Parking- please park in the Cal High Parking lot ONLY. You must have a San Ramon City Parking permit to park on the streets and in the surrounding neighborhoods. The parking lot located near the tennis courts will be reserved handicapped parking.
  • The Cal High Administration will provide golf cart shuttle service for guests who require assistance getting to the stadium. The shuttle stop is located at the north driveway next to the tennis courts.
  • We will not distribute tickets, seating arrangements are on a first come, first serve basis, with gates opening at 4:30pm. Please do not save seats for other patrons. Family members and guests may sit in the bleachers and on the chairs located on the track. Handicap seating is available on the north side of the track. Due to limited space, only one family member may sit in the handicap section with the person needing assistance.
  • In an effort to protect the stadium turf, family members and guests are prohibited from sitting on the all-weather stadium turf.Graduates are prohibited from wearing spike/stiletto heels.
  • For safety reasons, we are not able to provide golf cart assistance after the ceremony.

Graduation is a memorable experience; therefore, we ask that you communicate the importance of maintaining appropriate behavior with your student. The California High School Administration prohibits the following: altering the caps and/or gowns, balloons, beach balls, water guns, or any other device that may interfere with the ceremony. The Class of 2017 is a fantastic group of students! We do not anticipate any concerns.

Senior Picnic

 

The Senior Picnic at Six Flags will be on Friday, May 25th. If you bought a Senior Gold ASB package during registration, all you will need to do is fill out and return a field trip form. If you need to buy a ticket, please see Ms. Wong in the office. Tickets are $70, and will be sold as long as seats are available on the buses. Buses will leave from the front of the school at 10:00 a.m., and will depart from Six Flags at 4:30 p.m.

 

Baccalaureate

 

The Baccalaureate ceremony will be on May 27th at 4:30 p.m. (students should arrive at 3:45 pm) at Canyon Creek Presbyterian Church (9015 S Gale Ridge Rd, San Ramon). 

 

Grad Night

 

Grad Night is an all-night, safe and sober celebration for the Class of 2018 with music, dancing, entertainment, interactive games and activities, prize drawings throughout the night, and surprises you don't want to miss!

 

On June 1st, 2018, our senior students will be celebrating Grad Night at PLANK in Jack London Square, Oakland. There will be music and entertainment, fun and food, and games and prizes all night long.

 

Buses will be leaving from Cal High at 9:30pm on Friday, June 1st, and retuning to the campus at 3:30/4:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 2nd. The Senior Gold ASB package does not include a ticket to Grad Night. Tickets may be purchased on the Future Fund Store: https://calhigh.futurefundapp.com/store

GRADUATION PRACTICE

Graduation practice is held on the last day of school (Friday, June 1st) at 12:45 - immediately following the last final.  Practice is mandatory for students participating in graduation.
