Can I check out a textbook for the summer?

The answer is NO . Textbook checkout policy is consistent across the San Ramon Valley Unified School District high schools. The only textbooks that will be checked out prior to starting the 2013/2014 school year will be for AP classes that require the textbook for summer assignments . There will be no summer checkouts for any other AP classes or regular classes. Most textbooks are available for in-library use in the Contra Costa libraries at Montgomery Street and Dougherty Station in San Ramon. Checkout dates for AP textbooks that are required for summer assignments will be May 20-23 and May 28-29 during Brunch, Tutorial, and Lunch only . There will be no check-outs before or after school, during classtime, on Fridays, or outside the given May dates. Studentswill need to present their Cal ID card for scanning (not their ID number verbally) to check out the textbook,so please plan accordingly.
