Rain and Textbooks

The rainy season has started.  Wet books can easily turn into moldy books so here are some rainy day tips:

* don't use your book as an umbrella

* don't leave your books outside (even in your backpack outside)

* if you are walking/ biking/ skateboarding  in the rain or have your backpack outside during sports practice, wrap your books in plastic

* if your book gets wet, fan the pages and dry with a hair dryer or other hot air source

A moldy math book will cost you $60 - 100 to replace so "an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure".
