Registration Nights

Important info sessions are being held to guide students and parents in the process of registering for classes online.

Current 9th and 10th Graders  March 9th at 7:00 in various locations on campus

  • Students will have opportunities to learn about electives and AP courses

More information will be coming your way soon. The new course catalog is now available online under the Counseling tab on the Cal High website. You can check out your student's transcript on the Parent Portal in Infinite Campus.

Congratulations to Jessica Gonzalves for winning the nomination from Cal High for the DAR Good Citizens award. She was recognized by the organization on February 10th and awarded a certificate and flag that flew over the capital. 

CAHSEE Testing March 17 and 18

Tuesday, March 17 and Wednesday, March 18 are testing days at Cal High.  Freshmen will take the Mock-CASHEE test which is a practice test for the California High School Exit Exam that they will take as Sophomores to help us identify students in need of extra support.  The Sophomores will take the California High School Exit Exam.  Juniors and Seniors arrive both days at 11:15.  Please note that school for students without an A period ends at 2:05 both days.

Below is the schedule for those March 17 (even) and 18 (odd):

CAHSEE/Mock CAHSEE 9th and 10th grades 8:00-11:15 195 minutes
Brunch/Passing   11:15-11:25 10 minutes
Periods 1 or 2 All grades 11:25-12:05 40 minutes
Lunch   12:05-12:35 30 minutes
Passing   12:35-12:40 5 minutes
Periods 3 or 4 All grades 12:40-1:20 40 minutes
Passing   1:20-1:25 5 minutes
Periods 5 or 5 All grades 1:25-2:05 40 minutes
A period Students with A period 2:10-2:55 45 minutes
