SAT/ACT FOLLOW UP MEETING The follow up meeting for Saturday’s SAT/ACT practice test is NOT Wednesday, Feb. 10. It will be held Thursday, Feb. 11 in the library from 6:30 to 8:00. (O’Malley) WOMEN’S SOCCER Grizzly’s Senior Night for Women’s soccer is Tuesday the 9th of February. The team will be taking on Livermore High School. Senior Night starts at 5:30 followed by the game. Remember, 4 of the 6 players have accepted offers to play in college. Be sure to come out and support your Women’s soccer program. (Wong) CLUB NEWS DRAMA CLUB There will be a Drama Club meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 9th in FA 106 at lunch. (Woods) NAAFP Women’s History Month Poster Contest sponsored by the NAAFP Club at Cal High. There are prizes for winning posters! Check fliers in the hallways and your classrooms for contest rules. Posters should exhibit American women who have made important gains for humanity in various fields and are positive role models for girls and women. Deadline for poster submission is Friday, February 19. Winners will be announced Friday, February 26. (Addison) INTERACT HAITI RELIEF DRIVE Attention all Cal High student and staff! The people of Haiti are in dire need of shelter and basic supplies. The Interact Club will be holding a drive for donations to Haiti from February 1 to February 12. We are accepting coins, cash, or checks made out to San Ramon Rotary. You can turn in your donations in all English classrooms, the office, the library, and room FA-104. All proceeds will go to the Rotary International Haiti Earthquake Relief Fund. Donate today! The Project collects dresses that have been worn within the last two to three years and no more than three or four times. The dress should have no holes, no tears and should be clean. The Project expects to round up about 4,000 dresses throughout California this year. For Dress Collection sites visit www.princessproject.org. (Fischer) |
